Craig
Craig began his Muay Thai training in February of 2018 under the stewardship of Kru Jordan Kravitz and Kru Dave Mirabelli at Lanna MMA, training there for 2 years. He then moved to downtown Toronto and after a year off he would, in 2022, join Naka Muay Thai first as a student. Then, under the guidance and encouragement of Ajhan Amnat, transitioned into the role of peer leader and coach. He has helped coach and mentor many of his juniors and peers to compete in numerous single fights and tournaments.
Craig has a strong love and respect for the sport and culture of Muay Thai and is grateful for how it has helped him grow as a person and martial artist. He hopes to continue to pass on that love through his coaching and mentorship and ultimately become a great example of a well-rounded martial artist.

Wendy
Michael
Michael is a long-time member and coach at Naka, and has been practicing Muay Thai since late 2016 and the sport has been a fundamental part of his experience for many years, helping him stay motivated and energized beyond the gym.
He approaches the discipline as a long-term practice rather than a competitive pursuit, placing emphasis on drilling and conditioning over heavy sparring sessions. Professionally, Michael works as an architect, a role that carries over into a focus on structure, detail, and steady progress in training.
His sessions focus on the technical side of the sport, with an emphasis on form and strong fundamentals, with the goal of refining technique over time. He is grateful for the experiences and sense of community the sport has brought into his life, and aims to contribute to and encourage that same positive environment for others.

Moon
Boxing & Dutch Kickboxing Coach | Close Quarters Specialist
Coach Moon began training in martial arts at the age of four, starting with Taekwondo before transitioning into boxing and Dutch kickboxing at 19. Over time, he developed a sharp foundation in striking and expanded his expertise into close-quarters hand-to-hand and edged-weapon combat, drawing from Silat, Kali, and Apache knife fighting systems to build practical, real-world defensive skill.
In addition to coaching, Coach Moon actively works in bodyguard and protective operations, where awareness, controlled aggression, threat assessment, and split-second decision-making are essential. This real-world experience shapes his teaching — emphasizing positioning, composure under pressure, situational control, and efficient movement in tight spaces.
He has coached individuals from all walks of life — from children building confidence to law enforcement and military personnel refining combat readiness. His style blends technical precision, conditioning, mental resilience, and tactical awareness.
Beyond the gym, Coach Moon serves as a youth minister, using martial arts as a bridge to reach at-risk youth affected by gang violence, trauma, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse. Through martial arts and mentorship, he provides a disciplined outlet for healing and growth — sharing the love of Christ while helping young people build strength in body, mind, and spirit.
For Coach Moon, training is more than fighting — it is about forging disciplined protectors, restoring identity, and building warriors who carry both skill and integrity into every arena of life.
